50.FORWARD

What is 50.FORWARD?

50.FORWARD is a community project I started to prove what good people can do together. Every mission begins with £50. The community helps choose a charity, family or person who needs support. I use that £50 to buy something, sell it for a profit, reinvest, and keep going until we hit the target. Then every penny goes to the cause.

It is not a one-off. Mission 002 will follow. And 003. And so on.

Current mission

Mission 001: Time for Thomas

Target: £5,000 for a Geberit AquaClean Mera Care wash and dry toilet for Thomas Paterson, 15.

Thomas lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life-limiting muscle-wasting condition. The toilet means Tom can keep his dignity and independence at home as the condition progresses. His mum Tracy has been fundraising for two years already. We are taking on this one specific piece of kit so Tom gets it sooner.

The product we are flipping

A 3D printed bin hook that attaches your food waste caddy to the back of your wheelie bin. Solves a real problem. £3 standard or £5 to add extra support. £2 UK postage, or collect for free.

Past missions

Once Mission 001 is complete and Tom has his toilet, this section will fill up with the story, the final total, and the product we sold to get there. Mission 002 will follow.
