I started my fitness journey in April 2014 at a health club (bannatynes) I was already fit and healthy but wanted take it further.

I had followed Mikes personal achievements on Facebook and the service he provided looked fantastic, the inspiration and commitment which he had been and what had been portrayed on social media was amazing, and I wanted to see for myself what Mikes personal training was all about! He was the talk of the town and I was looking a personal trainer who could provide me with the help and support in which I needed to progress further in my fitness goals.

I attended Mikes Gym (Mas Body Gym) for the first time in November 2014, I met Mike, and he instantly made me feel welcome and at ease in the gym and talked to me with a lot of passion in his words which I knew straight away I was talking to the right person, which I was nervous about at first.

We spoke about my fitness goals and I told him I wanted to compete. Mike took this on board and told me this wouldn’t be easy, and it takes a lot of hard work and determination to get to that level. He said he would give me 110% if I gave it 100%… that was the beginning of my journey!

My first competition date was set for June 2014, Mike had given up his time to coach me throughout the full 6 months and continues to do so, and he kept me focused, Mike took the time to train me and educate me along the way by standing by me when I was feeling low, giving me everything I needed physically and mentally to keep me going, and provided me with a fully tailored diet plan to follow guiding me every step of the way. Mike has also introduced me to some of the UK’s Top Athletes to get training tips, and motivation where nowhere else I can think of could offer this in the area. I  went on to compete taking 1st place in my first competition in Leeds and then followed the next year 2015 with another 1st place becoming MISS United Kingdom in the Athletic Class. In November 2016 I went on to compete for a third time in the UKBFF federation and placed 3rd in a tough line up and qualified for the Arnold Classic in Barcelona, IFBB Diamond Cup in Liverpool and the British finals in London in 2017.

As a personal Trainer Mike is a man who will make sure you fully understand how and why you are training specific body parts and perform the exercises with complete form, he educates you and keeps you motivated never leaving one stone un turned. I would highly recommend you take a look and give it a go for yourself.

Since starting to work with Mike Hind just over 5 weeks ago, I have learnt how to be more disciplined, how to push myself to limits I didn’t know my body would go to, I have learnt to follow a strict diet plan and actually really enjoy it. So far I have lost 2 stone 1 pound and this has been through hard work and determination and with Mike pushing me at every corner! He is not only a personal trainer but someone who wants to help and knows how to make you reach your potential even when you think you can’t. I would recommend a tailored diet plan from Mike, as in the past I had tried other fad diets, and the food options and the strategy’s Mike uses are much better as I now have energy to keep me going through my workouts!

In my profession nutrition is massive, having working with previous coaches in past fights. 1 of who removed all carbs from diet and told me I was intolerant to them. Mike was opposite. I was educated instead of given a strict diet. I have been following Mike’s tailored diet plan for 8 weeks now and have lost a total of 14lbs! I think it is great, really easy to follow. The key is preparation. Since working with Mike I have learned how to eat healthy, I have energy to train and feel I can perform my best in every training session.

This diet is different to any other diet plan I have done in the past, I never feel hungry and find that I am not looking for snacks and picking, which is where I would normally stray. I have recommended this to everyone, it is the best plan I have followed and it is 100% sustainable.
